Lialia Kuchma studied at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and with Reggie Ezell. In 1995 she was awarded grants from both the Illinois Arts Council and the Illinois Humanities Council. Her work has been exhibited at the Center for the Arts in Pittsburgh, and at the Lill St. Studio in Chicago.
